Responsibility Skills 

Task

 In Capsim we are given the task to be responsible over a multi-million-dollar company for the next eight weeks. Having this responsibility means that ever member must meet deadlines, followed through with commitments and find solutions to setbacks. Having these tasks gives me an opportunity to use my responsibility skills. 

 

Situation

As part of a team I understand that it is important for all to participate and take responsibility to attend team discussions. Coming to all team meetings prepared and on time shows my Responsibility Skills. When completing group assignments I take the lead to encourage meetings and conversation so everyone’s abilities are showcased and open communication is welcomed. 

 

Action

For our first AGM presentation I took action by agreeing to present. I illustrate my Responsibility Skills by seeking advice from my teammates when making decisions for this presentation, listening to my group and understanding their ideas and opinions demonstrates by ability to be responsible and respectful when given feedback. I also took action by practicing for this presentation and making sure I was fully prepared. 

 

 

Result

Utilizing my responsibility skills in Capsim and throughout this process has helped stay on top of all tasks assigned, as well as take action and do by best to participate and be efficient and effective for my group members.
